Educational Travel Center was established 1976 for the purpose of promoting travel and tourism arrangements in Thailand, suitable for and attractive to the young and budget - conscious traveller.
ETC has since developed a full range of tour programs in Thailand and neighboring countries and now offers a comprehensive range of services, including:

- sightseeing, excursions and transfers

Plus a wide selection of tours, including adventure packages, to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
While this development has been taking place, however, ETC has not lost sight of its original purpose, that of catering for the budget traveller, the independent-minded and the free spirited, those seeking adventure at affordable prices whether young or not so young. This is typified by ETC's Adventures in Thailand tour program which is at the heart of the company's range of products.
The company now employs approximately 50 staff and in addition to its administrative offices and sales counter in the Royal Hotel it also has two retail shops located in areas of Bangkok that are popular with back-packers and budget travellers.
ETC is an IATA Appointed Agent and also offers a wide range of discounted airfares throughout South East Asia and worldwide, at levels usually well below those available in Europe.
ETC is an addition a full member of the ISTC, PATA, the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) and Thai Eco & Adventure Travel Association (TEATA).
