Phrases like ‘Responsible, Green and Sustainable Tourism’, and 'Minimum Impact' get used a lot these days, but to most travel companies they are little more than marketing slogans. At Ayutthaya Boat & Travel we take responsible travel seriously. We know that protecting the future of communities protects our own future as well. Therefore, we must work in a way which protects local communities and the environment, both for their own inherent value, and so that our own businesses can flourish in the future. We strive to educate our clients on best practice too, in order to sensitize them to the need to minimize the social and environmental impact of their activities, and show them how they can best contribute to community well-being.

 

In 2008, Ayutthaya – Ride to the Green, one of our Community Based Tourism (CBT) programmes, won the Award of “The Best Inbound Tour Programme” at the Thailand Tourism Awards 2008.

We have long experience in organizing bike & boat tours around Thailand, particularly Ayutthaya. We have a wide range of activities and tour options associated with Thailand's most important river, the Chao Phraya River and her tributaries. We also organize and operate special interest tours to Ayutthaya.
